Why India’s capital should be relocated?

Delhi was geometric center for undivided India. That is the reason why the British made it as India’s capital. But for present India, it is congested towards north and it is choked by some parameters like pollution, overpopulation etc.
Ideal choice of capital present India would be somewhere near the Nagpur region.
Why Nagpur?
- Geometric Center:- Nagpur is in the geometric center region of the India. For people of Kashmir and Kanyakumari, Kutch and Kamrup (Assam) it will fall at almost same distance. Present capital is far away for the natives of south and north-east India.
- Chance of future Development:- Outside the Nagpur, there are chances of development especially on the banks of Nag river. Nagpur is proposed to be fifth largest growing city with an average growth of 8.41%. For more details:- Nagpur metropolitan area – Wikipedia
- Weather Situation:- Delhi has average highest temperature is 33.0° Celsius while lowest average temperature is 13.0° Celsius. Nagpur has average highest temperature is 33.0° Celsius and lowest temperature is 20.0° Celsius.
- External Security:- Nagpur is faraway from the international borders and sea-routes. Delhi is close to the borders of Pakistan and China in comparison.
- Internal Security:- After 2006, there isn’t any major terrorist or Naxalite attack in Nagpur. Also, no organizations are such active in that region.
- Seismic considerations:- Nagpur is good for seismic conditions which means less possibility of earthquakes which means less loss. For Delhi, it is third most earthquake prone city.
- Previous Infrastructures:- Nagpur is already capital of the winter session of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. Therefore, old infrastructures can be used in some less important government offices.
- Best city for living:- Nagpur was awarded as best city to live topping in live-ability, greenery, public transport and healthcare. Also, it is among the top-20 list of cleanest city since 2016.
Why not some city near Ocean/Sea?
- Security reasons
- Risk of Natural calamities
- Congested towards one side
Karachi was also located on the sea. It was capital of the Pakistan till 1967; later it was moved due to security and economic reason
